Standards

A standard is the foundation of everything

Work dog standards have been around as long as standards have existed, allowing for merit to be placed on the performance of anyone who works on a professional level with a K9. The problem, as we  see it, the world is changing but the working dog standards have stayed the same.  We find this to be unbelievable as standards in other industries are continually evolving. There can only be one way forward and that is a new standard to fit in our modern world that is trainable in a humane training procedure that produces a 100% reliable outcome.

Also it cannot be that the standards that a team certified with is not comparable to how the team is working.

Standards HAVE to be comparable to the actual work a k9 team does.

A standard in Dog development

A standard doesn’t and shouldn’t be only a form of testing the capabilities of a K9 team, It should also be a progression plan and predicted outcome of the buildup of the K9 itself. There are to many variables in the development per dog that the expected outcome is more guesswork than predictable.By development of a good progression plan system and making that the standard for your specific needs will produce a outcome for YOUR needs and not for a general standard  plus having a big washout what is the same as cost UNaffective.
